Adding to my Journal: I'd like to apologize for any problems my extended breaks from RP's cause you all, such as forgetting what happened/where we were, or just losing interest. To make things easier, I'm willing to do some extra work, employing a couple of strategies that have had some success in the past.
1) For those of you who don't want to read through lengthy Nested comment chains (or search pages of Flat comments) to get caught up, I can create and send a set of "cliff-notes" to keep in your Notes; these will highlight important plot points and significant tidbits to remember from an RP we've been doing, and can be updated over time. (If you don't need the mental reminder, I could still do this if you just want to have it for quick reference's sake, and even do so with PAST RP's for the same reason.)
2) If you want to just end an RP so we can move on to others, I won't object, but would still appreciate some story closure. To compromise, I can summarize what I believe would occur in the rest of our tale with one or more short paragraphs (depending on how much is left), with the other person providing any thoughts they have or their own character's reactions to events. (This process could be reversed if I'm doing an RP that belongs to/was started by the other person.)
((I'd like to ask that anyone I've been RP'ing with give me their opinions on this: even if you aren't next in line for my current "Canonical-Order" strategy, I can still work on either of these time-savers for those who want them in the meantime.))

You don't have to do this for our current RP, but I will keep this in mind for future RPs.
