RPS: Dragon-Slaying? Reunited on the Great Sea
[FC] found themselves floating in some sort of strange limbo, their eyes seeing nothing but a inky blue surroundings with small bubbles floating freely through. Aptly enough, it felt as if their head were "swimming". The last thing they remembered was finding a strange treasure chest hidden on a secluded island, then they and their friend[s] being engulfed in a bright white light. Suddenly, a polite voice that seemed somewhat familiar echoed through their head.
"So you HAVE returned. That is good; your assistance here would be greatly appreciated. And it seems you bring companions of your own this time as well. That is also fine; all the more to provide needed support. With the dangers ahead, you will certainly be glad for it. I am deeply sorry for bringing you into harm's way once more...but we require that special power in you more now than ever."
Immediately after this, the intense white light returned, ending soon as [FC] opened their eyes. They found themselves laying flat

RPS: A Mob Boss' Treasured Light
[FC] was being led towards an office by two tough-looking simians. They didn't exactly know why they had been asked to see the boss in charge here, but had received a message that the "Prime Eights" all-ape gang was requesting their services and would pay handsomely for their troubles. This group of rabble-rousers didn't exactly have the BEST reputation, but they didn't really cause any major trouble; mostly claiming ground and applying intimidation to keep other gangs in check. The REAL enigma was their leader: James Mackidamia; known as JimM D. by most, but Jimmy to his friends. Sometimes his known actions as a mob boss seemed malicious, but then were mixed up with a bunch of more benevolent acts, just to make it confusing. And this was the chimpanzee that [FC] currently was being led to see.
The apes escorting them stopped and opened a set of double doors, standing poised next to them. "Da Boss'll see ya now." At this, [FC] slowly entered the office beyond, scents of cigars and citr

Assignment 18 -Summer Fun Part 5: Zoot-
Without a doubt, the biggest and most popular party destination in the whole T-G-I-S!! Festival is the area dedicated to Latin celebration: this is the Carnaval section. Samba, merengue and salsa tunes blasted through the air, and everywhere you looked someone danced in a flashy costume. Vendors sold plenty of food, soda and mineral water to be readily bought and consumed, so one could party all day long. Though nourishment was important for energy so was the music, and not just anyone could provide beats that would keep everybody hopping into the night. To accomplish that, a very special band had been hired. One which was reletively new but came with a glittering recommendation: Los Primeros Ochos.
Back-stage, the band prepared to make an appearance, tuning or lightly playing their instruments. The band director, lead singer and maraca player stood directly in front of them. His name was Zoot, an orangutan with flair to spare, especially when it came to music. Like the others,

Assignment 18 -Summer Fun Part 4: Kenzie-
There is no doubt that some great celebrations come from the Land of the Rising Sun. It is for this reason that Nozama’s T-G-I-S!! Festival saw fit to include a Japanese Matsuri section. And what an area it is: a fantastical mix of shrine-style including classic games like turtle scooping and cork shooting with high-tech entertainment like karaoke and arcade games. There’s even a cosplay contest for those who came in costume. Its food had incredible variety, ranging from the standard noodle dishes and festival snacks to vending machine drinks and pop culture-infused products. Yes, certainly a wonderful place for the culturally inclined, whether traditional or modern. One Nozama resident present was a huge fan of both sides, and her name was Kenzie Gecko.
That day, Kenzie walked around the grounds carrying an amazing amount of prizes and collectables she had either won or bought, using her long tail as a third appendage for bags. She couldn’t contain the excitement whi

Assignment 18 -Summer Fun Part 3: Simon-
When thinking of the world’s biggest parties, it would be strange not to bring up Mardi Gras. So it’s no surprise that very style of celebration was one of the many themes at the T-G-I-S!! Festival. Costumes and decorations of bright colors (mainly purple green and yellow) with beads, feathers and flashy masks were everywhere, as lively jazz music set folks to the beat of a good time. And there was no slack in the food department either. Jambalaya, beignets, gumbo, po’boys; sweet, spicy, and ready to satisfy. Any true party animal could hardly stay away, and the boys of Nozama’s great hero team were no exception.
Simon the sloth walked along through the Mardi Gras Plaza, snapping his fingers to the beat of tunes he heard playing. “Man, this is one great set-up. I may not be the wildest guy, but no denyin’ I like a real ‘happenin’ scene’.” Stepping and sliding in time while snapping himself was a rather large reptilian k

Assignment 18 -Summer Fun Part 2: Berry-
The European Faire; one of the leisurely and relaxing sections of the T-G-I-S!! Festival. Sure there was upbeat music to get people excited, but it almost had fairy-like, soothing quality to it as well. The general attractions ranged from Shakespearean performances Steampunk clothing and crafts. And the more “energetic” affairs, such as jousting demonstrations and “dragon-slaying”, were exclusive to the Medieval Vale area. It was in this section that one could find Berry the fruit bat, along her fellow orphans and caretaker Grammy Sue.
Berry absolutely LOVED the European Faire. It had just the type of atmosphere she was fond of. Harmonious melodies and smells of exquisite delicacies flowing through the air, with beautiful clothing and architecture wherever you chose to direct your eyes. It was enough to make her squeal in sheer delight. Though as a lady of conduct, Berry did her best to keep composure; it just meant that she couldn’t stop smiling the whole

Assignment 18 -Summer Fun Part 1: Vidal-
It was finally that time of year again. The time that some residents of Nozama waited all year long for: The T-G-I-S!! (Thank-Goodness-It’s-Summer!!) Festival, a grand-standing seven-day celebration of the fact that summer had finally arrived. And the best part was its combination of cultures all around the world, from a Japanese-style “Matsuri”, to a “Carnaval” straight out of Latin tradition. So finding a festival flair to fit your fancy was no difficult task. As it began the week after schools got out this was particularly popular with the student populace, but almost EVERYONE in the city loved getting in on the summer fun. And that included their resident heroes, the Nozama Freedom Fighters (NFF).
Vidal the ring-tailed lemur ran through the entrance gate on opening day, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells with energetic elation. He bounced up and down, stuck on his next course of action. “Oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-ohmanohmanohmanohmanoh

Planning for HSIS Chapters! Submit Charries!
Okiedoke, so this is when I start incorporating people's characters into the actual storyline! Yeeeah, it kinda tends to be different than any actual RP's we have, but they all tend to have similar roles and dialogue! But here's my main ideas for what they do in the story so far!
:icongeno-the-slakoth:
- Rumimi, coming to Edmund's aid while Tara is having another freakout, and helping him back on his feet before introducing herself. As well as meeting up with Unit Neptune for the very first time!
- Skruffa Psikes, generally seen in classes, and helps introduce Unit Saturn. However, Tara quickly notices how quickly Skruffa changes sides, either by high ranking teachers, or high student consensus
- Grororg, sets up a visit time with Tara after being especially lonely one day. Finds out that he REALLY likes hanging out with Jolie, Tara's kid sister, who happens to think he's very cute.
- Lila Wa Lila, meet later on during the day as she attempts to flirt with T

HSIS Ch 2: No Gravity, No Navigational Skills
STARRING: Babel Fish

"Oh...oh lord...this isn't what I had in mind...for my first day at school..."
She struggled to climb out of the elevator, her legs still shivering from seeing herself get shot straight out of the Earth and into space. Luckily...she didn't need to walk. At least not yet. For then the elevator opened the door, and turned her loose inside of a massive, zero-gravity hallway.
Absolutely no footing at all! This hallway looked like some sort of huge tube rimmed with mechanical parts and glowing lights! In the air were floating cube and diamondoid objects hovering in the air, appearing to be holograms of some sort. And on the ground was a line of glowing circuit-like lines going out the door, that made the area look more like a giant computer than a school hallway.
"Rrgh!! No...no, I can't move! I..."
Luckily, her prayers were answered before they were spoken. A couple of the floating, holographic polyhedrons stationed themselves to her back,

Today's the day. THAT day. The first day of High School.
"Okay...okay, I've never done this high school thing before, but I think I know what's supposed to happen! So uh...I'll like, run to the bus stop with a piece of toast in my mouth, and then get on the bus! Then I get to school, see a bunch of fellow kids going to class, go to homeroom, and then the teacher introduces a new transfer student! Then uh, what else...OH! Oh yeah! I'll maybe run in the hallway and bump into the boy of my dreams! And then maybe meet up with a club of some kind, cuz there are lots of those in high school! And next, I..."
Meet Tara Watts!

I'm an artist who wants to share ideas so everyone can enjoy my them along with me. I hope to someday put what is inspired from my works into recognized media. Until then, I shall enjoy myself here.
Interests
So first of all, Happy [Belated] Valentine's Day/Single Awareness Day/Tues-Day ta my pals; hope y'all had a good one.

In other news, I seem to be doing decently well with the "Canon-Order" strategy as of now, and came up with ways of organizing all my RP's so they're not all so overwhelming. Because of this, I'm switching things up again. First, I'll show some [late] holiday love by leaving a new reply on every single one of my RP's (within 24 hours at least; not necessarily all at once). Then, I'm gonna start a brand-new strategy, partially inspired by wisdom from a pal of mine. Each day, I'll focus on RP's fitting under a specific category (such as Canon-Heavy, Close-To-Done, AU's, my own RPS stories, etc.), plus a few extra possible replies on others given personal interest or inspiration for any in particular. That will leave me working on between 1 and 5 RP's per day, with an average of about 3-4. And so, I can get all of my RP's moving at a moderate pace, while still not being overwhelmed with the sheer number of them. I've got a good feeling about this one. :D

Journal History

Activity

Also, having been reminded that there's other people following me besides the friends I RP with, here's a message to those of you who've been hoping for art: ...Sorry about that. :forgiveme: I just haven't been feeling up to doing that sort of thing regularly for a while now, only ending the "drought" temporarily when sudden interest and/or inspiration strikes. So if you've been following my activity solely for art, you probably should move along to a more active artist. ^^; Though I'd greatly appreciate anyone who decides to stick around anyway.
AAAAAAAND I'm back! Thanks for waiting, everypony! :iconpinkiepielaplz:
So to start, I'm gonna reply on the most "canon-order" RP's I've got on the docket (like I was doing BEFORE leaving), then branch off into other categories throughout the days to come. Talk ta y'all soon!
Howdy all. Sorry I've been a bit inactive these past several days; even if provided with enough time, my attention's been focused on other interests, such as manga/anime and an MLP convention over the weekend. However, I've reached a realization that it's okay for me to be absent on RPs and focus on different pursuits for a few days or even a week, so long as I can bring myself back before it becomes a month or more. Long-term burnout is one thing I'd like to avoid at this point for as long as possible. So with that being said, you can expect to hear from me again before long...just give me at least another 24 hours to geek out over anime and pony "waifus". :meow:
HEY GUYS. Sooooo, seems my computer/dA account might be on the fritz (or could be MY fault somehow, IDK :shrug:), as sometimes my replies to Comments/Notes don't seem to appear in friends' inboxes. So if it seems like I'm taking a REALLY long time to respond...that might be why. Just check the Comment/Note chain itself for anything new, and if something is NOT there, then you can check in with me. Just don't want us both to be kept waiting by such a mishap in technology. ^^;

A'ight--OVER AND OUT.
